REVIEW DRAFT — not effective or published. Draft mine.storage.draft.2026-10-03.1, prepared September 23, 2026 and revised October 3, 2026. The marketing site has not yet been deployed or inventoried. This notice distinguishes its intended setup from the current iPhone app and merchant websites.
Mine is provided by Solsk, Inc. I’m Brandon; contact me at brandon@solsk.app about storage or privacy.
Mine’s marketing website
The proposed website is a simple introduction to the iPhone app with policy and support pages. No optional analytics, advertising pixels, embedded social trackers, web account registration or waitlist is planned for this initial site.
Unresolved before publication: the hosting/CDN provider, access logs, any security cookies, their actual purposes and lifetimes, processing locations, and whether the finished site saves a language or appearance preference. A plan to avoid tracking is not proof that a host sets no cookies or keeps no logs. The final policy must list any actual nonessential storage and the applicable choice before that storage is used.
A website host ordinarily needs technical request information to deliver a page. The effective Privacy Policy must describe the selected host’s real handling rather than declaring the site collects nothing. Links to Apple or another website take you to that service’s policies.
Merchant websites inside Mine
Mine’s browser opens real third-party websites. They can use cookies, browser storage and their own services for sign-in, a cart, preferences, security, measurement or advertising. Their notices and choices apply to that website. Mine never accepts a merchant’s cookie banner for you. With Clean browsing (on by default; Settings → Clean browsing), Mine answers a recognized banner with “Reject all” or “Necessary only” where offered, otherwise hides it, hides some ads and pop-ups, and may send a “do not sell or share” signal. Matching happens on this iPhone. Your switches and site list stay on this iPhone, including after Clear browsing data, sign-out or switching accounts.
The current app uses WebKit’s persistent website data store. Closing a browser window does not necessarily remove a merchant login or cookie. The browser’s Clear browsing data action asks for confirmation, then clears website data and Mine browsing history. Saved pages and earlier on-device history are separate. A website reloaded afterward can create fresh storage, so clearing is not a promise that the browser remains empty.
Other app storage
The app also stores local preferences, saved page links, earlier on-device history (read-only), cached imagery or models, downloaded files and recovery copies. These are app records, not all “cookies.” Removing one category does not remove the others.
Planned connected-account storage includes verified session information in the device Keychain and account-bound caches. Those source contracts do not mean the online account service is connected. Device backups, shared files and independent merchant records have separate lifecycles.
Use the account-data help page to choose the relevant control. The Privacy Policy describes current handling and unresolved launch details.
