REVIEW DRAFT — not effective or published. Draft mine.ai.draft.2026-10-03.1, prepared September 23, 2026 and revised October 3, 2026. Pay with Mine uses AI to read your cart; you can turn this off at any time in Privacy & data. This notice describes the intended features and the information that must be confirmed before activation.
Mine is provided by Solsk, Inc. I’m Brandon; contact me at brandon@solsk.app. By creating an account and using Pay with Mine, you agree to the cart reading described in section 1. Other AI uses, such as product generation, need their own choice.
1. Reading a cart
The cart reader uses OpenAI through Mine’s server to read the cart or checkout page you are on, on a store or restaurant website, when you tap Pay with Mine. It is used only to read the cart: items, options, quantities, prices, discounts and charges. It is not Apple Intelligence, a chat service, a merchant checkout agent or an instruction to buy anything.
Mine sends the page’s visible text (as if you selected all of it) and a screenshot of what is on your screen, through Mine’s server. It also sends the page address without its query, the page title, and the paths of product links on the page. Mine removes email addresses, phone numbers and card-like numbers from the text first. The screenshot cannot be redacted, so hide anything private on the page before you tap. The model finds the items, prices, quantities, discounts and charges; Mine then checks every name and price against the page text and adds up the totals itself, and you review the cart before a virtual purchase. The model cannot establish a valid price, stock availability, a permitted source or your consent simply by returning an answer.
The model is not intended to receive your store passwords, cookies, account tokens or your Mine profile. The release must verify this boundary; it is not enough for a notice to promise it. The visible page and screenshot can still show private or sensitive information, such as a name, an address, a gift message or what you have typed into a visible field. Mine does not keep the page text or the screenshot. It keeps the reviewed cart in your account and a reading record (the model’s answer and fingerprints of the text and screenshot) marked to expire after 30 days. Food-delivery apps are not supported.
Turning it off: you can turn AI cart reading off at any time in Privacy & data. After that, nothing is sent to AI and Pay with Mine cannot read carts; supported direct imports or manual item review remain alternatives where available, and some pages may still be unsupported. Turning AI off is not agreement to an invisible substitute provider.
AI can misread or omit information. Check options, quantities, currency and amounts. Cancel or use another method if they are wrong. AI output does not place a real order or create a real payment or debt.
2. Making a product representation
Generating a stylized product model is a separate purpose from reading a cart. It may require an eligible product image and product details to be sent to a model provider. It must have its own notice and choice; agreeing to cart interpretation does not authorize generation.
No consumer generation provider, final payload, processing region or retention/deletion arrangement has been activated for Mine. No product-generation provider receives your data. A generated miniature may simplify or misrepresent a product and does not convey ownership or intellectual-property rights in the real product. Only permitted source material may be used.
When a permitted photo is available, the intended alternative is a photo representation with an explicit model retry where eligible. A generation problem should not indefinitely block a simulated delivery. The notice must accurately describe the actual alternative before this feature launches.
3. Provider handling and choice
The current OpenAI request source uses store: false. That setting alone is not a promise of zero retention: provider safety logs and other applicable handling can differ from stored application responses. OpenAI’s published API policy says training use is off by default unless the customer opts in; Mine must still verify the actual project settings, contractual terms and region before making a release-specific promise. See OpenAI’s data controls.
Unresolved before activation: exact providers and endpoints; approved fields and sources; provider/customer retention, logging, deletion and backup handling; training/data-sharing settings; processing countries and transfer safeguards; understandable translated notices; working consent and withdrawal controls; behavior for an already submitted job. No blanket claim that data is never retained, never leaves a country or is instantly deleted is made here.
Withdrawing a choice should stop future submissions for that purpose. It cannot retract a request already transmitted or substitute for a deletion request. The effective notice must explain the actual treatment of in-progress requests and any retained records. Declining one AI feature must not silently change another choice.
Optional analytics, research, advertising and marketing remain distinct. They are not authorized by this notice or by a cart submission. See the Privacy Policy and account-data help.
