Community Guidelines
Effective Date: August 29, 2026
sølsk is an 18+ digital hangout for meeting people one-on-one—whether you’re here for friendship, dating, or simply someone to talk to. These rules apply to every profile, Gnista, comment, Låse, report, and other interaction on the Service.
meet people. one conversation at a time.
Slow down. Give someone a real chance. Give full attention. Respect the person on the other side of the screen.
1. Adults Only
The Service is strictly for people 18 and older. Do not create an account if you are under 18. Never:
- sexualize, solicit, groom, exploit, or endanger a minor;
- share or request sexual content involving a minor, including fictionalized or computer-generated material that depicts a minor sexually;
- help a minor evade the age restriction; or
- use a false age to gain access.
Suspected child sexual exploitation may be preserved and reported to appropriate authorities.
2. Be Real
- Use your own identity, current photos, and accurate profile information.
- Do not impersonate a person, organization, school, or public figure.
- Do not use misleading badges, manipulated verification materials, or another person’s school email.
- Do not run bots, coordinated fake accounts, catfishing schemes, or engagement farms.
- Do not misrepresent what brought you to sølsk to pressure or deceive someone.
Identity Verified and College Verified are limited trust signals, not guarantees. Identity Verified is not a background check or safety endorsement. College Verified proves control of a qualifying school email at one point, not current enrollment, identity, age, or safety.
3. Respect, Boundaries, and Consent
Treat every person as a person, not a target. Respect “no,” silence, hesitation, changed plans, a blocked account, and a withdrawn invitation. Consent must be freely given, informed, specific, and ongoing. Consent to one conversation or kind of content does not imply consent to another.
- Do not harass, bully, shame, intimidate, threaten, stalk, or repeatedly contact someone who wants space.
- Do not pressure someone to move off-platform, meet in person, reveal personal information, drink, use drugs, date, have sex, or send media.
- Do not use guilt, threats, money, status, badges, private information, or intimate media as leverage.
- Do not publish another person’s address, workplace, schedule, identity document, contact details, or other private information without permission.
4. Hate, Discrimination, and Dehumanization
Do not attack, exclude, threaten, degrade, or dehumanize people based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, caste, disability, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, age, veteran status, or another protected characteristic. Slurs, praise for hate groups, and calls for exclusion or violence are prohibited.
5. Violence, Self-Harm, and Dangerous Conduct
- Do not threaten, encourage, celebrate, or plan violence.
- Do not glorify or instruct suicide, self-harm, eating-disorder behavior, or dangerous challenges.
- Do not display weapons to intimidate someone or use the Service to coordinate an attack.
- Do not sell controlled substances, weapons, stolen goods, or other illegal or dangerous items.
Supportive discussion and recovery-oriented conversation are allowed. In an immediate emergency, contact 911 in the United States rather than waiting for an in-app response.
6. Public and Member-Visible Sexual Content
Explicit sexual material and nudity are prohibited on profiles, profile photos, Gnista, comments, public prompts, ads, and every other member-visible surface. This includes exposed genitals, explicit sexual acts, pornographic poses, links intended to sell or distribute pornography, and sexual solicitation.
Non-explicit discussion of dating, relationships, sexual health, orientation, boundaries, or adult experiences can be allowed when it is relevant, lawful, respectful, and not used to target or shock someone.
7. Private Adult Conversation in Låse
Inside a private Låse, consenting adults may have lawful sexual conversation or share intimate media only when it is actually welcomed by both participants. No extra front-end consent switch is required for consent to matter. The people involved must communicate and respect real boundaries.
Entering a general Låse is not consent to sexual content. A match, a dating intent, prior flirting, a verification badge, or earlier consent does not authorize an explicit message or image. Ask first. Stop immediately if consent is absent or withdrawn.
The following are prohibited everywhere, including in private Låse:
- cyberflashing or any unsolicited explicit image, video, audio, or sexual message;
- sexual coercion, threats, blackmail, sextortion, or pressure;
- recording or sharing intimate media without every depicted person’s consent;
- sexual content involving anyone under 18 or someone unable to consent;
- paid sexual activity, escorting, pornography sales, sexual-service solicitation, or sugar arrangements involving payment for sexual access;
- trafficking, grooming, exploitation, or facilitating another person’s exploitation; and
- sexual violence, bestiality, incestuous exploitation, or other unlawful sexual content.
8. Låse Conduct
A new Låse lasts up to three hours unless it ends earlier through Takk, reporting, or a safety or account action. The timer is not an entitlement to someone’s attention. No one owes a reply, affection, a date, sexual content, personal information, or contact after the Låse ends.
Private-message enforcement is primarily report-driven. Current Låse content is encrypted, but a participant may authorize disclosure of relevant conversation evidence through a report. Authorized systems, reviewers, administrators, service providers, advisers, and authorities may then receive what is reasonably necessary to assess or act on the report.
9. Scams, Spam, and Commercial Misuse
- Do not request money, gift cards, cryptocurrency, login codes, payment details, or investments through deception or pressure.
- Do not promote pyramid schemes, financial fraud, fake emergencies, romance scams, or job scams.
- Do not send repetitive promotions, bulk messages, referral spam, or unauthorized advertisements.
- Do not harvest data, scrape profiles, sell access, or use member information for marketing or surveillance.
- Do not buy, sell, transfer, or rent accounts, badges, Film Reel access, or platform privileges.
10. Gnista, Comments, and Other Shared Spaces
Keep shared content relevant to its prompt or conversation. Do not derail a thread to target someone, repeat rejected contact, coordinate dogpiling, expose private Låse content, or post material prohibited elsewhere in these Guidelines. The same age, sexual-content, hate, violence, privacy, and scam rules apply.
11. Offline Conduct
Conduct connected to a sølsk introduction can affect account access even if it happens off the Service. Violence, stalking, sexual assault, coercion, trafficking, nonconsensual image sharing, credible threats, or scams may lead to enforcement when Solsk receives sufficiently reliable information. Review the Safety Center before meeting someone offline.
12. Reporting
Use the in-app report tool where available or email brandon@solsk.app. Include useful context without putting yourself at further risk. Reports are handled as privately as reasonably possible, but Solsk may disclose information when needed to investigate, protect people, enforce policies, comply with law, or provide fair process. Solsk does not promise a specific review time, secrecy, or outcome.
A good-faith report is allowed even when an allegation cannot ultimately be proven. Knowingly false, malicious, retaliatory, or abusive reports may lead to enforcement; uncertainty, missing evidence, or an unsubstantiated outcome alone does not make a report malicious.
If a concern involves private Låse content, the reporting participant may choose to disclose relevant conversation evidence for review. Consent to disclose for a report does not authorize public redistribution.
13. Blocking and Immediate Safety
Blocking may not be available during an active Låse. If something is unsafe, use the available report or ending tool, stop responding, preserve evidence if safe, and seek emergency help when needed. In-app tools and email are not emergency services.
14. Enforcement
Depending on severity, credibility, pattern, context, and risk, Solsk may:
- remove content or reduce its distribution;
- warn the account or require corrective steps;
- remove a verification badge or promotional entitlement obtained through abuse;
- limit features, visibility, discovery, comments, or Låse access;
- end an active Låse;
- suspend or permanently terminate an account;
- preserve evidence or restrict related accounts; or
- contact providers, emergency services, law enforcement, or other authorities when appropriate.
Solsk may use automated systems, service providers, and human review. No warning is required before action. Solsk may be unable to disclose safety-sensitive evidence.
15. Appeals
To appeal an account action, email brandon@solsk.app from the account email with the subject “Appeal Request.” Explain the decision and why it should be reconsidered. An appeal is not a promise that an action will be reversed or reviewed within a particular time.
16. Changes
Solsk may update these Guidelines as the Service, law, or safety practices change. The effective date will be updated and any additional notice or consent required by law will be provided.
