Last updated: [release date TBD]
CD is provided by Solsk, Inc. I’m Brandon, the person building CD. You can reach me at brandon@solsk.app. References to “I” in these terms mean Brandon acting for Solsk, Inc.; the company is the contracting party.
Unpublished Four Tracks draft. This page is prepared for a future backend and app release. The features and changes below are not live. Release dates, agreement wording, and controls marked [label TBD] still need review.
These terms describe the rules for using CD. Read them alongside the privacy policy and community guidelines.
Policy version: [agreement version/date TBD]. Whether this release needs a new agreement is [agreement decision TBD]. This draft doesn’t require returning users to accept a new version. The release wording and app controls still need to reflect that decision. A previous sign-in, an old draft, or a saved recording doesn’t by itself record a new agreement.
Using CD
CD is intended for adults 18 and older in the United States. Use your own Apple-linked account, accurate account information, and photos that represent you. Keep your account secure and don’t let someone else use it to get around a restriction.
Flyers and events can have a minimum age from 18 to 100. Both people must meet an attached listing’s age requirement. If its minimum age rises above the asker’s age after an ask is sent, that ask invites no one else. Anyone below the requirement isn’t invited, and an open invitation can’t be replied to or accepted if either person is below it. Lowering a listing’s age requirement doesn’t lower the limit saved with an existing ask.
Identity verification is optional. Skipping it leaves the app available. The current development build uses simulated Stripe test checks, labeled as tests; they do not establish real identity or age. You must still meet CD’s age requirement and provide accurate information.
The website is for information and support. It doesn’t provide account creation, matching, chat, or purchases.
Both people choose
You describe what you want to do, review the exact words, place, end time, and any attached listing, then deliberately send your ask. Every ask looks for people first. Places, events, clubs, and flyers give it context. CD can invite relevant people when eligible people exist. A recipient chooses whether to express interest; the requester independently chooses whether to connect. Chat opens only after mutual choice.
Activity asks can reach people open to related activities, even if their matching details don’t use the same words. That doesn’t establish a skill, willingness to help, romantic interest, or current availability.
I approve and publish clubs and flyers. Clubs have no CD accounts and can’t message anyone. Receiving flyers is a separate choice, off by default, with at most two delivered in any rolling seven days. Flyers you only see as suggestions don’t count toward that limit. Flyers don’t pose as people or arrive as invitations. Where a flyer can reach non-members, relevant non-members are considered before the club’s own members. Sensitive clubs’ flyers go only to members who allow matching for that club.
Nobody owes a reply or a meeting. CD doesn’t guarantee a match, response time, date, friendship, or outcome. An invitation setting doesn’t mean someone is presently available, and a shared skill doesn’t mean they are willing to help.
Romantic invitations require explicit interest and compatible private preferences. A normal hangout doesn’t imply romantic interest.
Your words and information
Submit only content you have the right to use. Don’t share another person’s private information without permission. CD processes and displays submitted information for the features and permissions you choose, as described in privacy.
Drafts and newly kept details begin private. Matching permission and profile display are separate choices. You can edit or remove information and change those permissions.
Club memberships are opt-in. You add each club yourself; CD never infers membership or sends it to a club. Each membership starts with all three permissions off: use for matching, show on your profile, and welcome newcomers. These are separate choices; their controls are [label TBD]. For a sensitive club, showing it or choosing to welcome newcomers needs extra confirmation on each such save. Welcoming newcomers has no matching effect for a sensitive club. The privacy policy explains these permissions and when a listing choice can let an activity or hangout ask reach you.
Private messages use end-to-end encryption. Keep your recovery key if you want a way to restore encrypted history. Losing the key and access to a verified device may make old messages unrecoverable. People can retain or report content they receive; CD can’t take back a delivered copy.
Your account agreement and AI processing
The account agreement covers these terms and the privacy policy, including the AI processing it explains. CD keeps the accepted policy version, acceptance time, and current AI setting with your account. Whether returning users will be asked to accept a new agreement for this release remains [agreement decision TBD]. Previous drafts and recordings aren’t processed just because you accept an agreement.
While AI processing is allowed, deliberately saving words in you saves your private draft and requests suggestions from OpenAI through CD’s services. You review the suggestions before keeping any. Kept details start private, with matching and profile display off until you choose them separately. Suggestions can be incomplete or wrong; you decide what represents you.
Audio is sent to OpenAI only when you deliberately request transcription. Selected photos, asks, replies, and profile details may need AI checks or interpretation when you choose the related action. Private chat is excluded. These actions use the account agreement instead of repeated draft or recording switches.
The existing ask-interpretation and matching-detail topic calls also infer related activities. They don’t make a new AI call for each possible recipient. These topics can broaden activity matching and help order activity and hangout asks, find listing suggestions, and choose relevant flyers. They don’t establish sensitive traits, skills, willingness to help, or requirements such as fluency. They aren’t used to match or rank people for learn, help, or romantic asks. Memberships, flyer delivery, and listing suggestions use no AI themselves. OpenAI receives no listing records, membership records, attachment fields, or flyer data from those features. Your ask’s own words can still contain a listing name or venue.
Once this release is deployed, existing matching details can match more asks without a new action from their owner, because askers’ related topics can be compared with topics already stored. These topics aren’t shown in the app, but your own export includes them.
To turn AI processing off, open settings → your agreement → turn off AI processing. Once confirmed, that stops new AI requests; it does not recall a request already sent. You can still type and save private raw drafts, but transcription, suggestions about your words, and other actions requiring AI checks cannot finish while processing is off. Turning AI off doesn’t delete stored topics: they keep matching until you turn the detail’s matching off or remove it. Membership choices, flyer choices, and receiving invitations don’t require AI to be on. Allowing AI again requires deliberate agreement to the policies in effect and does not process old drafts automatically. The privacy policy explains these controls and provider retention.
Plans and billing
Available plans and prices are shown in the app before purchase. The planned ask allowances and reach are:
| Plan | New asks per week (Sunday–Saturday) | Maximum people reached per new ask |
|---|---|---|
| Free | 1 | 4 |
| Starter | 7 | 12 |
| Plus | 14 | 30 |
| Max | 21 | 100 |
The actual Apple-localized price and billing period appear before you confirm a purchase. Payment increases weekly asks and maximum reach. It doesn’t buy priority ahead of another person’s ask or guarantee better matches. Receiving invitations and flyers, expressing interest, and chatting remain free. Attaching a listing makes an ordinary ask, with the same allowance and reach rules.
Your plan’s reach limit is saved when you send a new ask. A later plan change applies to new asks; it doesn’t change an open ask’s saved limit or remove existing conversations. Asks created before the reach update keep their existing four-person limit.
CD considers eligible people across your saved city and orders them by the fit supported by the ask and information allowed for matching. For activity and hangout asks, that can also include matching-allowed memberships, related topics, and your choices to be findable while going to an attached flyer or to welcome newcomers to an attached non-sensitive club or its flyer. Scores aren’t shown. A larger plan raises the possible reach; an ask may reach fewer people if suitable recipients aren’t available. It doesn’t guarantee replies or meetings.
An ask uses one slot when its first invitation reaches an eligible person’s CD inbox; further invitations from that same ask don’t use another slot. An ask waiting for its first recipient hasn’t used a slot. If it ends, expires, or is replaced before any invitation is delivered, no slot is used. A delivered invitation counts toward its reach even if the recipient doesn’t reply or declines. Drafts, rejected submissions, and an identical retry of an accepted submission don’t use another slot.
third places is a separate map of approved places and events in your saved city. Browsing a listing doesn’t use an ask or a personal invitation allowance. find people for this prepares an editable ask, and suggest in this chat prepares editable message text. You review and choose whether to send either one. Neither action books a place, purchases admission, reserves a seat, or confirms attendance.
No one pays to rank people. Only places can be sponsored. Paid places are labelled as ads, and sponsorship never changes ordering. The map label is ad · third place; the label on a sponsored suggestion is [label TBD] and must be in place before release. Listing descriptions, dates, prices, and admission restrictions can change. Check the current details with the place or group before attending.
The week of that first delivery determines which allowance is used. Each week runs Sunday through Saturday in Central Time (America/Chicago). All ask allowances reset together on Sunday at 12:00 a.m. Central Time, including daylight-saving changes. Unused asks do not carry over. A plan change, restoration, or renewal does not clear asks already used that week.
Apple processes subscriptions. Monthly plans renew automatically unless canceled through Apple’s subscription controls. Your confirmed subscription status determines the available allowance. Use restore purchases or manage plan in CD to reconnect a purchase or open Apple’s management controls. Refund requests go through Apple’s purchase-support process; a particular refund result isn’t guaranteed.
Deleting your account or removing the app doesn’t cancel a subscription. Cancel it separately through Apple. Support explains how.
Respect a no
Follow the community guidelines. Don’t use CD for harassment, threats, hate, exploitation, impersonation, scams, unauthorized access, or unlawful activity. Don’t evade a pass, a block, or an account restriction.
Public and routed content is checked. People can report concerns and deliberately disclose selected message evidence for review. Private chat isn’t continuously read or sent to AI. Content or accounts may be restricted, removed, or suspended based on a documented concern. Decisions about a person can be appealed in the app, or you can contact me.
You can also report a club, flyer, or place. Listing reports have no appeal and never suspend a person. I review them and may withdraw a listing for everyone. The community guidelines explain the choices and what changes for the person reporting.
Leaving, pausing, and meeting
You can end an ask, pause invitations, end a conversation, block someone, or delete your account. Ending an ask stops new invitations from it and preserves existing conversations. Unblocking doesn’t restart an ended invitation or conversation.
Pausing also stops new flyer deliveries and flyer notices. Flyers already delivered stay in meet. Marking yourself as going to a flyer ([label TBD]) doesn’t book, reserve, or confirm anything with the group or venue. Clubs receive no names, responses, or member lists. A going count appears only at three or more and includes people who aren’t findable; there’s no attendee list.
An approved listing doesn’t vouch for a group, promise a welcome, or show that a place is busy. For a first visit, check the details and agree on your plan with the person you’re meeting.
Decide for yourself whether, when, and where to meet. Agree on a public place and communicate clearly. Identity verification doesn’t guarantee someone’s behavior or safety. CD isn’t an emergency service; contact local emergency services if there’s immediate danger.
Services can be interrupted. An identity or connection failure may keep an action unavailable until it can finish safely. A chat-service failure doesn’t switch messages to unencrypted delivery.
